The History of Adoption
Adoption has since seen a wave of changes. Initially, adopting a child as one’s own was not an activity that had laws. Adoption practices were abused. Many children and teenagers became servants to their guardians, often forced to perform arduous labor in severely adverse conditions.
It wasn’t until 1851 that the first adoption law was passed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, enabling children in destitute conditions to enter homes that, hopefully, were homes that would provide refuge.
There have been several comprehensive studies on adoption in the United States, all of them producing statistics that show just how in flux adoption trends have been over the years:

3 Seldom Used Communication Tips You Can Master: Break Down Barriers Between You & Your Partner
According to Rob, (Director/Counsellor of The Centre for Life Management/LMC Relationship Centre, and Co-author of “Love by Design”) says that the following is roughly how communication is divided.
10% of Communication is conducted through Words.
30% of Communication is conducted through Tone.
60% of Communication is conducted by Body Language.
So what does this mean? We spend the majority of the time focusing on what people are directly saying, but we are missing 90% of what people are really saying. It is no wonder then, that above and beyond couples not having the same communication modes, or not having relationship skills, miscommunication can also be occurring because we are not focusing on the full picture.
Indirect Communication is also an alternate form of communication, because a person needs to listen to what is being said underneath the words, and not take the words at face value only.
Let’s give some examples of the less well know forms of communication.
BODY LANGUAGE: When a couple comes for counselling, by the time they sit down on the couch together, we already have an idea of the dynamics of the relationship. How? By how they are sitting on the couch. Is the couple sitting on opposite ends of the couch? Are they sitting close together, are they leaning towards each other, away from each other? Is one couple leaning away from the other even though the other is leaning towards the other one? Is one person practically sitting on the other? Are they holding hands? Does someone have their arm behind the other one? Are they sitting forward, leaning back relaxed, or sitting up poker straight? Is someone fidgeting or restless? Is someone hugging a pillow, or putting a pillow between themselves and their partner? There is a lot going on, if one is aware.
It is important when communicating to be aware of one’s body language. Often a person may shutdown by something the first partner is saying or doing, but are not saying anything, so the first partner continues unaware.
As an example, if someone shuts down, they may lean away from you, they may or may not be smiling, they may have a very tight, restricted look on their face. Their eyes will usually be directed away, looking down, or looking up and away. If they do maintain eye contact, chances are their arms will be crossed.
Arms being crossed is fascinating, in and of itself and has more than one meaning, but as the person doing the communicating and as the receiver of the communication it

Where in the World Is…?

When Is The Best Time TO Take Your Company Public?
CEO’s often call and ask me what the revenues and net profit should be before going public, they seem to think that there is a magic number that qualifies a private company into becoming a public company.
There is no set amount of revenues or net profit that is required to take your company public, then when is the absolute best time to go public?
The short answer would be when you don’t need to, or your company is not desperately looking for financing in order to survive.
Instead you are looking for capital in order to finance growth and expansion, or you would like to use the public shares as currency to make acquisitions.
But life isn’t always perfect, so we will take a look at a few questions asked by CEO’s that have called me looking to go public.
What should revenues and net profit be before going public? A company could conceivably have 5 consecutive year of profitability and be a bad candidate for going public.
I recently had a CEO called me from such a company, the revenues and net profit were identical for the previous five years but robust compare to many of the companies you see going public in the NASDAQ BB and Pink Sheets today.
But I didn’t see any growth in either revenues or net profit nor any indication that there was going to be some in the future, the CEO did not know where future growth would come from.
I told him that if he was just going public so that he could tell friends that he was the CEO of public company then he shouldn’t go public.
But if he could develop a strategy for growth and put together a business plan outlining how he was going to grow revenues and net income, he could become an outstanding candidate for going public.
The opposite of that would be a company that has been losing money for 5 years but is exhibiting growth in revenues every year and the losses are smaller.
This company has a business plan and targets for business expansion and every year is meeting those targets, and going public is part of the business strategy. So you tell me which company теле магазин has the greater potential of being a successful public company?
Investors are always looking for growth candidates to put their money in to. So they will go with the company that has the potential to make them the most money in the future.
Another situation that I often come across is CEO’s who want to

Could This Be The Time To Get Into Emerging Markets?
Did you know that the Russian stock market grew by a staggering 89.56% over the last year? Or that the Egyptian stock market grew by a no less impressive 57.98% a year over the last five years? Performance records in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America have been nothing short of spectacular. Furthermore, an impressive number of companies in these emerging markets are rapidly turning themselves from regional success stories into huge multi-national conglomerates. As the UK’s Investors Chronicle recently reported: ‘If you are looking for decent, relatively cheap, relatively safe stocks you no longer have to limit your choice…the world is quite literally your oyster.’
Does it make sense, however, for a small, cautious, private investor to put his or her hard earned cash into this sector? For those who have already built up assets closer to home the answer could well be ‘yes’. We live in a global economy, stock markets historically outperform all other forms of investment and one of the golden rules of making

The dog loves everyone. He is sloppy and carefree. He is unashamed of his Шинковка Кировоград feelings and will walk through fire if it pleases his owner. Rituals: Repetitive Gibberish or Evidence of Our Spiritual Awareness?
Recently the Pastor General, a kind of theological CEO, of the Worldwide Church of God, said …
“For people who feel dirty, Jesus offers cleansing. For people who feel ashamed, he offers honor. For people Dormeo Mark who feel that they have a debt to pay, he offers forgiveness. For people who feel alienated, he offers reconciliation. For people who feel enslaved, he offers freedom. For those who feel like they don’t belong, he offers adoption into a permanent family. For those who feel tired, he offers rest. For those who are anxious, he offers peace.
RITUALS OFFER ONLY THE NEED FOR THEIR CONTINUAL REPETITION.” (Emphasis cary real estate mine)
I would differ with that and state that humans always have and always will need ritual as an outward expression of the inner consciousness. Any church that thinks it is free of ritual in some real way where some generic “knowing” Jesus works better, is kidding itself.
The Worldwide Church of God, was and still is a church, термопринтер чеков like all churches of ritual. The debate is not over to have them or not but rather it has always been over whose rituals are outdated, of the devil or God’s true and right rituals.
Take Christmas, now celebrated by WCG with gusto where in the past it was recognized for what it is, a pagan celebration of the rebirth of the Sun. In this case, and with respect to Christian celebration of Christmas as the birthday of the Son of God, there is nothing new under the SUN.
To review. In reality, humans notice that as the year wore on, the sun sank lower and lower in the southern sky. The days grew shorter, the nights longer and the weather more ominous. By December 22nd the sun was at it’s lowest and appeared to just sit, of all things, in the grave for three days and three nights. But, on the December 25th, with Virgo, the Virgin at her Zenith the Sun came up a bit sooner and moved a bit north. It’s a miracle, the Virgin did indeed bring forth the SUN. And thus all pagan god/men get December 25th as their birthday, when the Sun of God or the Son of God is born, depending. Cool beans huh! This information is about as new as the ..the…SUN!
To celebrate Christmas as the birth of Jesus is to celebrate this ritual fear of darkness and birth of the Sun to rise out of the wilderness of darkness and defeat the Devil, which we might view in this context as Darkness=evil=D-evil. It is no coincidence that Jesus ministry begins at about age 30 and with being tempted by the “Devil” to not be the Son of God. Just as the Sun still struggles against darkness through winter to not be the Sun of God. But by Spring, at the Equinox, meaning equal days and nights in length, all is well as the Sun is risen after being crossified on the intersection of the ecliptic, ноутбуки acer aspire the line the sun follows through the constellations of the zodiac and the celestial equator.
Seems the literal Jesus, missing in action the first 30 years of his life, just as the Sun has to pass anonymously through the first 30 degrees of the Zodiac to get to the January constellation of Aquarius the Water Bearer, typified as John the Baptist, the first event in Jesus adult life according to scripture. After the Son/Sun is baptized by John, Aquarius dips below the horizon and goes into prison while the Sun?Son hardly comments and goes on his merry ministry. Six months later, Aquarius returns in the morning sky with only his head sticking up and Herod asks if Jesus is John the Baptist returned, but that is another part of the ritual we will not elaborate on.
